I am Sebastian Andres Aviles Rodriguez, an architect with a passion for real estate development and sustainable urban planning. I graduated from the prestigious University of Navarra in Spain, where I stood out for my exceptional final thesis titled "Evaluation of the energy consumption and overheating of homes in Miami, Guayaquil, and Tenerife." This project involved a detailed comparison and simulation of indoor overheating hours and cooling demand in different climates, considering energy efficiency codes and construction systems.

Born on November 17, 1999, in Guayaquil, Ecuador, I have always been driven by creativity, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Throughout my academic journey, I honed my skills in Structures, Installations, Urban Planning, Construction, and Project Workshop, among other essential areas.

During my time at the University of Navarra, I embarked on various internships to gain practical experience and explore different facets of the architectural profession. These opportunities helped me develop excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills, which have proven valuable in my career.

My pivotal experience came during a summer job at the Real Estate Builder "La Cuspide" in Guayaquil, where I discovered my true passion for real estate development and its impact on cities. As an on-site project manager, I led a team of 15 people, gaining invaluable insights into construction complexities and technical details. This experience enabled me to excel as a Real Estate Agent, providing clients with detailed specifications and enhancing their understanding of the houses we offered.

Realizing the significance of real estate development education, I am currently pursuing a Master of Real Estate Development + Urbanism at the University of Miami, renowned for its dynamic real estate market. This complements my technical architecture education from Spain, empowering me to pursue the market needs while considering Sustainable Development Goals, and an advocate for improving cities sustainably.

With a strong belief in overcoming challenges, I am motivated to contribute to the development of sustainable communities, embracing the intrinsic connection between social issues and infrastructure systems. By leveraging my skills, knowledge, and innovative approach, I aspire to positively impact the society, striving to create cities that align with Sustainable Development Goals such as Sustainable Cities and Communities, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Industry Innovation and Infrastructure, and Climate Action.
